Getting Older and Fighting Colds

25 Jan

We got snow. Only about 3 inches. The local weathermen had been heralding a “Winter Event” all week. Cracked me up – a “winter event” – who the? Anyway, it turned out to be just your normal snowy Saturday in January.

On the kid front…

Lucy now smiles and coos, is working on rolling over, and continues to produce gas at fantastic volume. Beck is a motor-mouth, DVD watching machine who is always ready to tell you what something *is not* – as in “Aunt BB, is not mommy”. Or “Milk, is not juice”.

The whole family has also been fighting colds almost all year. I finally broke down and got some anti-biotics after Beck was diagnosed with pneumonia. He’s been on anti-biotics himself now for 5 days, and is sooo much better – just a small lingering cough at this point. I’m better too, but Claire is now showing signs – stuffy head, coughing, aching – general crap. Lucy has a cough and runny as well, we’re just hoping the amazing immunizing powers of the boob keep any serious illness at bay.

I’ll finish up with a couple recent pics. I took these with my cell phone, so they’re pretty low quality…
